When to plan your trip: if you are looking to avoid the worst of the crowds choose October to December for your holiday.  The months offering the best combination of comfortable weather and reduced crowds are February and early March, but never let the weather or months put your off.

Rainfall is at it's heaviest in June, July and August and lowest from October through to April.

Regardless of which month you plan your holiday it is always recommended that you take a light raincoat or waterproof jacket as rain can strike at anytime - an umbrella is also well worth taking.  Having said that, it can rain for 5 minutes and then be dry and sunny again just a few minutes later!

TIP Don't pack a lot of smart or semi-formal clothes, you really won't need them in balmy Florida; nearly everywhere is informal including most of the restaurants.
